The Auckland Botanic Gardens has 5 different gardens available, each of these venues offers a distinct atmosphere, catering to various preferences and guest numbers. Whether you're planning a grand celebration or an intimate gathering, these settings provide a beautiful backdrop for your special day.

The Glade Garden

A purpose-built outdoor space surrounded by subtropical plants, offering year-round colour and style. Features a large shelter and stylish courtyard, ideal for larger ceremonies. Power is available on-site. This garden caters for up to 120 guests. 

The Edible Wall Garden

A potager-style garden enclosed within formal brick walls, featuring an open pergola. This elegant space offers a unique and sheltered setting for intimate functions. This garden caters for up to 50 guests.

The Rock Garden

A secluded area framed by mature trees, featuring a circular pergola atop a sloped lawn leading to tranquil lakes. This shaded site offers a serene and intimate setting for smaller ceremonies. This garden caters for up to 70 guests.

The Rose Garden

An expansive lawn above reflective waters, surrounded by themed rose gardens. Available for hire from November to March, providing a colourful and romantic backdrop for larger weddings. This large lawn caters for up to 200 guests. 

The Herb Garden

An intimate garden adorned with aromatic herbs and a quaint shelter, creating a charming and aromatic backdrop for small, personal ceremonies. This garden caters for up to 25 guests.
